State-owned Food Corporation of India (FCI) will continue selling rice and wheat in the open market as it has enough additional stock of both cereals than is required as per the buffer norm. However, going by the current pace of utilisation of wheat from its stock, the FCI would be left with the mandated reserve by April 1, which will be just around the buffer norm.
